Collecting Vegetable Seeds

Collecting vegetable seeds for the next season is a great way to save money and complete the growing cycle.  It is usually as simple as letting your plants flower then collecting the seeds once the flower heads have dried.

Seeds should always be stored in an airtight container in a cool area away from direct sunlight.  They can last for years but the germination rate will go down over time.
