Rice and Stir Fry’s

Rice and stir fry’s are a healthy choice for the family with so many different cuisines and flavour profiles.  Stir fry’s are also great for using up fresh garden vegetables.

Most recipes are gluten and dairy free as long as you use gluten free soy sauce.  Coconut milk is used as it is cheaper and a less fatty choice than coconut cream.  Sauces can be easily thickened with cornflour mixed with water.

It is worthwhile having a few different Asian ingredients in the pantry as they go a long way such as soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, curry powder, red curry paste and fish sauce for Thai cuisine.
