Spinach and Silverbeet

Spinach and silverbeet are easy to grow through the cooler months and provide continuous picking.  They freeze well and are a must for any home garden. Silverbeet is easier to grow while spinach has a milder flavour.

Fresh spinach and silverbeet tastes good just blanched in water for 30 seconds.  Add a light sauce of cream, garlic and onions or whole egg mayonnaise and a squeeze of lemon juice.
