Rhubarb and Strawberry Spiced Compote

This recipe for stewed rhubarb and strawberry spiced compote with cinnamon and vanilla is a wonderful dessert for when strawberries are in season. It is easy to make and a great way to use frozen rhubarb.

Serve warm with a dollop of cream or ice-cream.

Store in the fridge for up to one week in an airtight container then reheat in serving bowls in the microwave on high for 20 seconds or until warm.
